Sherlock Holmes Short Stories

 This book has three stories. First is The Speckled Band. A woman wanted Holmes to help her. She said “I’m afraid of death.” Two years ago, her sister was died, but the death was wrapped in mystery. She didn’t know the reason why her sister was dead, and she didn’t want to die like her sister. Holmes and Watson started a search in her house... 

Next is A Scandal in Bohemia. A man came to see Holmes, and the man was a king of Bohemia! He wanted Holmes to find a photograph he and a woman are on. People know the photo, it’s may be a big scandal, so he wanted to find as soon as possible. The woman was having the photo, and He wanted Holmes to get it from her...

Last is The Five Oranges Pips. A man came to see Holmes, and he asked for help. He got a strange letter, and he was so terrible, because he had seen the same letter before. The letter was delivered for his uncle and his father, and they were died as soon as the letter was arrived. Holmes and The next day, the man was died...

Those stories are interesting! I recommend to read it! 

Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son

     One day, a man came to see Holmes, and he wanted to Holme’s help. A student and a teacher disappeared in his school. A student was a son whose father was government minister, so he wanted Holmes to solve the problem before people know the news.Holmes and Watson started the search, and they found the dead body. The body was the teacher they were looking for...

I was so surprised the offender and the motive for the crime, and he and the accessory to the crime were selfish. However, the story is interesting. 

 

Christmas in Prague

 Jan lived with his wife and his father. One day, she decided to join three concerts as a harpist in Prague in December, and he and his father go with her to see the concert. However, a sad thing happened! She got hit by a bus before the concert. They met a man who called a ambulance for her, and the man looked like Jan very much! In Christmas, a happy thing happened to them...

Traffic accident is so sad, but I’m happy to read the climax. They met by chance, but the meeting is a miracle!
